One Year Memorial Coin
In memory of Alex, who passed on
September 6th 2007,
we have commissioned a Memorial coin.

The coin is one and a half inches in diameter and 3 mm thick
(about the size of a US Dollar Coin)
it is made of solid brass with a bright silver tone plating the top.
The
raised edges are highly polished and the recesses
are a frosted silver much like a "Proof" coin.
We have only 250 of these coins. They are consecutively numbered
on the edge of the coin starting with 1 up to 250
(Sorry, we can't accommodate your choice of number)

This pin is finely crafted in copper with an antique silver like finish. The pin shown is slightly larger than the actual size of approximately 1 1/4 inches tall by 3/4 inch wide. This life-like pin even captures Alex's single red feather on his neck. The pin has a single post with a butterfly closure clasp. Alex Commemorative Pendant
Hand-crafted sterling silver and natural ruby pendant by Nancy Kasper of Earthly Designs Fine Jewelry, this very special piece was commissioned by friend, Maggie Buchanan in gratitude for the contributions of Dr. Irene Pepperberg and Alex, the African Grey Parrot to the advancement of science.
Designed from photographs capturing Alex's uniqueness, a natural ruby is set to show his distinctive red feather, this hand carved and cast sterling silver pendant is offered for sale with all profits to go to The Alex Foundation. Artist/jeweler Nancy Kasper of earthlydesigns.net has been creating fine jewelry with bird, animal, and contemporary designs for over 25 years.

Is now available! This Bella Embroidery shirt is silk-screened in a four color process on a 50/50 cotton poly blend. It features a "Badge" on the front With "Remember Alex 1976 to 2007 in a circle around Alex's face with the memorial ribbon underneath.
The back features a full size photo of Alex on his perch, the same photo used in the new Alex Foundation Logo

Necklace front and back
Alex's Last Words Necklace & Box
Diane Kline, from Rock Paper Scissors, uses her unique artistic abilities to transform a photo of Alex to a gorgeous necklace and box set. The box is made of recycled paper and the pendant is protected by high-strength epoxy resin and hung from an 18" rhodium plated silver box chain that is tarnish proof and hypoallergenic. Alex's last words are on the back of the necklace. The box measures 4"x 4"x 2" and has the same photo of Alex on the cover, the necklace is approximately 1"x 1.25". $48.00 plus priority shipping.
